The organization provides free support, education, advocacy and resource navigation to families throughout San Antonio, Bexar County and surrounding Southwest Texas communities. Families can receive assistance with autism and disability support, healthcare coordination, case management, accessing community resources, educational advocacy, specialized therapies, health insurance, medical equipment and medications, Medicaid waivers and planning for future needs. ABC of Southwest Texas also provides bereavement navigation and support for families experiencing the loss of a child. Services are designed to help parents and caregivers find resources, build advocacy skills and better navigate healthcare and community support systems.
