American Indians in Texas at the Spanish Colonial Missions (AIT-SCM) provides cultural, educational, wellness and community programs for Indigenous people and families in San Antonio. The organization's mission is to preserve and protect the culture and traditions of the Tap Pilam Coahuiltecan Nation and other Indigenous peoples of the Spanish Colonial Missions in South Texas and Northern Mexico through education, research, community outreach, economic development and advocacy.

AIT-SCM's programs address both cultural preservation and present-day community needs. Its Community Engagement initiatives include civic engagement, restorative justice and healing, youth leadership development, Tribal and Urban Native Equity and Tap Pilam Coahuiltecan Nation advocacy. The organization's Family Health & Wellness work combines Indigenous knowledge and herbal wisdom with integrative health, nutrition, Western medicine and social services. Its programs also include the San Antonio Fatherhood Campaign.

AIT-SCM's Indigenous Arts programming preserves and celebrates Native culture through visual and performing arts, traditional dance, drumming and singing, Native American flute, film, art classes, exhibits, artisan markets, culinary arts and community festivals. AIT-SCM also provides Yanaguana Mission Heritage Tours, where lineal descendants of Mission Native communities guide participants through San Antonio's historic missions while sharing Indigenous history, culture, traditional foods, songs, dance and art.
