Blessed Angels Community Center is a San Antonio nonprofit emergency food pantry providing nutritious food and essential resources to seniors, veterans, children, individuals and families experiencing hardship. The organization provides emergency food assistance to families in need, including a variety of perishable and nonperishable groceries. Food assistance is available by appointment, and individuals should contact Blessed Angels Community Center to confirm current distribution dates and availability.
Blessed Angels also provides specialized assistance for low-income, homeless and at-risk veterans and their families, including emergency food and clothing support. Adults age 60 and older can participate in programs through the Blessed Angels Senior Center. Senior services include free lunches, grocery assistance, exercise and dance classes, health screenings, Celebrity Bingo and other social and wellness activities designed to help older adults remain healthy, active, independent and connected to their community.
Blessed Angels Community Center also partners with the Texas Diaper Bank to help eligible families access diaper assistance. Additional clothing, household items and essential supplies may be available depending on current donations and resources. Individuals and families needing assistance should call Blessed Angels Community Center before visiting to confirm eligibility, appointments, distribution schedules and current availability.
