Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio – After-School & Youth Programs

Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio provides affordable after-school, summer and youth development programs for children and teens throughout San Antonio. Programs serve school-enrolled youth ages 6–18 and provide safe, supervised places where young people can learn, build friendships, receive homework help, participate in recreational activities and develop skills for school, work and life.

After-school programming combines academic support with enrichment activities focused on academic success, character and leadership, health and well-being, and life and workforce readiness. Activities may include homework help, tutoring, STEM and STEAM activities, reading, arts and crafts, sports, recreation, leadership development and career preparation.

Summer programming gives children opportunities to stay active and engaged while school is out through sports, swimming, arts, educational enrichment, field trips and other activities. Meals or snacks may also be provided as part of certain programs. Teen programs help older youth develop leadership, communication, career and life skills while exploring opportunities after high school, including college, trade school, military service and employment.

Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio works to keep its programs accessible to families. Membership scholarships are available for qualifying families experiencing financial hardship, and eligible military youth and youth with qualifying Medicaid Amerigroup coverage may receive free membership. Parents and caregivers interested in enrolling a child should contact Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio or their preferred Club location to confirm current registration, fees, scholarships, transportation options, program schedules and availability.
