Brighton Center is a San Antonio nonprofit helping children with disabilities and developmental delays through early childhood intervention, pediatric therapy, inclusive preschool and special education support. Brighton’s Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program serves babies and toddlers from birth to age 3 throughout Bexar County. Licensed therapists and Early Intervention Specialists work with children and families in familiar environments such as the home or child care setting.

Early intervention services include speech, language and feeding therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, specialized skills training and case management. Services are individualized to help children strengthen communication, movement, feeding, learning and developmental skills while helping parents and caregivers support their child’s progress. For children ages 3–6, Brighton provides center-based pediatric speech, occupational and physical therapy for children with disabilities and developmental delays.

Brighton also operates inclusive preschool programs for young children with and without disabilities. Its early childhood education programs combine learning, development and inclusion to help children build social, emotional, communication and academic skills and prepare for kindergarten. Families with school-age children can receive special education support and advocacy, including help understanding evaluations, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ARD meetings, Behavior Intervention Plans and Section 504 plans.
