City Year San Antonio partners with schools to help students build the academic, social, and emotional skills they need to succeed. City Year AmeriCorps members serve alongside teachers as student success coaches, providing one-on-one and small-group tutoring, mentoring, attendance support, encouragement, and other school-based assistance. The goal is to help students stay engaged, succeed academically, and remain on track toward high school graduation and future college or career opportunities.
