Community Council of South Central Texas empowers vulnerable families and individuals in greater South Central and West Texas (excluding Bexar County). Community Action Corporation of South Texas (CACOST) provides programs designed to help low-income individuals and families become healthier, more stable, and more self-sufficient. Depending on your county and eligibility, assistance may include utility-bill help, weatherization, affordable medical and behavioral healthcare, Head Start, Early Childhood Intervention, senior nutrition, benefits assistance, and other community services.
