Veterans and transitioning service members can access employment and career-transition resources through the U.S. Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS). Programs and resources can help military-connected individuals prepare for civilian employment, explore careers, strengthen job-search skills and connect with employment services.

Important: The Department of Labor's Off-Base Transition Training (OBTT) pilot program previously offered free employment workshops in San Antonio and other communities. The Department of Labor reports that the pilot has not been extended and OBTT workshops are no longer available. Veterans should use current Department of Labor VETS and Transition Assistance Program resources for employment assistance.
