EWOP goes into a correctional facility, where they work directly with women while they serve their sentence. The journey begins with personal purpose, followed by leadership development, mentorship, and college-level entrepreneurship coursework. Their program graduates leave prison ready to build their own financial and personal success.

Grow Leaders

They teach participants to think differently and embrace their inherent strengths. Through mentorship, each woman begins to own her story and articulate how the Leadership Academy provides an opportunity to reset her life. Character development, team building, career planning, financial literacy, and other topics challenge her to envision a new future.

Create Personal Connection Through Mentorship

Knowing someone believes in you — that’s powerful. EWOP volunteer mentors and coaches invest deeply in our participants’ success. From the time they meet in prison to after the women are released, participants can count on a support network to help them reach their goals.

Teach Entrepreneurship

Facilitated by our Education Program Coordinator and executive volunteers, our comprehensive program includes a leadership semester and entrepreneurship semester. Participants engage in conflict resolution, personal purpose and develop entrepreneurial skills through business plan creation.
