Guadalupe Community Center helps people experiencing financial hardship, food insecurity, housing instability, and other immediate needs. They connect residents with assistance designed to prevent homelessness, reduce poverty, strengthen families, and promote greater self-sufficiency.
Emergency Financial Assistance may be available to eligible people facing eviction or utility disconnection. Assistance can help with rent and utility emergencies while case managers provide financial coaching, budgeting assessments, and connections to additional community resources. Food pantry provides groceries such as canned and dry goods, dairy products, meat, baked goods, and fresh produce. Case managers can also help you apply for SNAP benefits and screen for other benefit programs.
Their Veronica’s Boutique assists pregnant and parenting families with young children through parenting education, diapers, formula, material assistance, and wraparound services. They provide a free After School Program for eligible students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Students can receive tutoring, homework assistance, mentoring, STEM enrichment, extracurricular activities, and meals in a supportive environment.
