Healthy Futures of Texas is a San Antonio-based nonprofit public health organization helping teens and young adults make informed decisions about their health, relationships, and futures through medically accurate sexual health education, prevention programs, trusted-adult training, and connections to reproductive healthcare resources. They work with youth, parents and caregivers, schools, colleges, community organizations, educators, foster families, and other youth-serving professionals throughout San Antonio and Texas.

They provide age-appropriate education addressing puberty, healthy relationships, sexual health, pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), contraception, communication, and responsible decision-making. Programs include sexual health education for young people; a puberty education program for younger students; and help parents and caregivers communicate more effectively with adolescents about development, relationships, and sexual health.

THRIVE provides trauma-informed sexual health education for ages 14–21 who are currently or formerly involved in foster care. The program helps participants develop knowledge and skills to make informed decisions and reduce the risk of unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.

They help parents, foster parents, educators, mentors, and other trusted adults become more comfortable discussing sexual and reproductive health with young people. Youth Advocates gives high school students opportunities to develop leadership, advocacy, research, public speaking, and civic engagement skills while working on issues affecting the health and well-being of young Texans.
