JOVEN (Juvenile Outreach Vocational Educational Network) is a San Antonio nonprofit that helps children, teens, and families build resilience, make healthy choices, succeed in school, and develop skills for a brighter future. JOVEN provides youth mental health counseling, substance use prevention, health education, intervention programs, after-school activities, academic support, leadership development, and summer programs for children and teens in San Antonio.
Services include school-based therapy, support groups, mental health screenings, and programs that help young people develop coping skills, emotional regulation, confidence, and resilience. JOVEN also works with families and educators to create a stronger support system for children who may be struggling. They help youth understand the risks associated with substance use and other unhealthy behaviors while strengthening decision-making skills and positive relationships. Their programs address healthy relationships, responsible decision-making, and teen pregnancy prevention.
JOVEN also offers after-school and summer programming that combines academic support with life skills, leadership development, healthy activities, mentoring, and opportunities for children to learn and grow in a safe and supportive environment.
