Junior Achievement of South Texas is a nonprofit organization helping students in San Antonio and communities across South Texas prepare for their financial and professional futures. They provide hands-on educational programs focused on financial literacy, career readiness, entrepreneurship, money management, and workforce skills.

Programs are available for elementary, middle, and high school students and help young people understand how education, careers, money, and business decisions affect their future. Students learn practical skills such as budgeting, saving, personal finance, career exploration, job preparation, communication, entrepreneurship, and responsible financial decision-making.

Their Finance Park gives middle and high school students practical experience with personal financial planning and budgeting. Students learn about income, expenses, savings, credit, careers, and lifestyle choices before applying those lessons in a realistic financial simulation. Their Job Shadow allow students to explore careers, learn workplace expectations, and understand the skills and education needed for different occupations.
