One by One Ministries provides free mentoring, parenting education and support for pregnant women and new moms in San Antonio. The faith-based nonprofit connects mothers with trained volunteer mentors who provide encouragement, friendship, parenting information and practical guidance during pregnancy and the early years of their child's life. Each mom is matched with a mentor who stays in regular contact, including weekly calls or texts and monthly meetings. Mentors help mothers understand baby growth and development, learn parenting and life skills, find helpful community resources and gain confidence as they care for their children.

Their mentoring program is completely free. Mothers can receive support beginning during pregnancy and continuing at least through their baby's first birthday, with an additional second-year mentoring program available for moms and mentors who want to continue together. They serve mothers in San Antonio through in-person mentoring and also offers virtual mentoring for women who cannot participate in person. Spanish-language mentoring is available as well. They provide faith-based encouragement and helps mothers understand their value, strengthen their families and build a positive future for themselves and their children.
