One Pill Kills SA – The Brooke Keith Commission is a San Antonio nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl and helping individuals and families affected by addiction, fentanyl poisoning and grief. Founded by Ginger Treanor in honor of her daughter Brooke, who died from fentanyl poisoning in 2021, One Pill Kills SA works to prevent additional deaths through education, community outreach and connections to local resources.

The organization provides fentanyl awareness presentations at schools and community events, helps individuals and families navigate addiction and grief resources, provides information about naloxone (Narcan) and organizes Soles Walking for Souls, an annual fentanyl awareness walk in San Antonio.
One Pill Kills SA also raises funds to help families with loved ones living in sober-living homes and connects people struggling with substance use and addiction to community resources.
Fentanyl can be found in counterfeit pills made to resemble legitimate prescription medications and may also be mixed with other illicit drugs without a person's knowledge.
