Operation BRAVE provides free and confidential HIV support services for people in San Antonio and Bexar County. The program helps people living with HIV connect with medical treatment, housingresources, mental health services, nurse care coordination and other community-based assistance. They serve people who are newly diagnosed with HIV, have fallen out of HIV medical care or have not yet achieved viral suppression. The program helps individuals overcome barriers to treatment and connect with the care and support they need to improve their health.

Nurse Care Coordinators work with individuals to identify HIV services that fit their needs and lifestyle. Assistance may also include help addressing transportation barriers, including bus passes for medical appointments. For people living with HIV who are experiencing housing instability, Operation BRAVE can connect individuals with housing programs and placement services. Through community partnerships, assistance may include referrals for rental assistance, supportive housing and other housing resources.

Operation BRAVE also connects individuals with HIV treatment and mental health resources and works with community organizations throughout the San Antonio area to provide additional services and support. All Operation BRAVE services are free and confidential.
