Roy Maas Youth Alternatives (RMYA) provides emergency shelter, residential care, counseling and transitional living services for children, teens and young adults in San Antonio and the surrounding area. They help youth who have experienced abuse, neglect, sexual exploitation, homelessness, foster care involvement and other crises. Programs include the Bridge Emergency Shelter for ages 5–17, Meadowland long-term residential care for ages 6–17, and TurningPoint transitional living for young adults ages 18–24.
