The San Antonio Food Bank's Texas Second Chance Program provides workforce training for incarcerated individuals preparing for successful employment and reentry. The six-month, 100-hour program combines classroom instruction with hands-on training in warehousing, inventory, shipping and receiving, workplace safety, material-handling equipment and culinary skills. Participants have opportunities to earn certifications and licenses that can translate into employment skills after release.
