Men experiencing homelessness in San Antonio can find overnight shelter, meals and basic-needs assistance through San Antonio Rescue Mission. The faith-based men's shelter provides a safe place to sleep along with showers, clean clothing, toiletries, a hot evening meal and a light breakfast.

Tens of thousands of men have heard the Gospel which is preached every night. In 2003, the Mission constructed a new 40 bed shelter with showers, toilets, a large dining room, a large kitchen and walk-in freezer compartment. In addition, the older structures have been continually refurbished and maintained and include a 50 person chapel, business office, guest registration office, staff housing and a clothing storage room.

The Mission is a living history of God’s love demonstrated through those who have served and supported this dream of those five men some 50 years ago. To God be the glory, great things He has done!
