
Non-Traditional High School Diploma
Home schooling is a valid alternative for obtaining a high school diploma within the State of Texas. The difference between home schooling and a traditional school is that school work is completed from the comforts of home and does not require you to attend traditional classes. Required curriculum should be completed within 6 months from your date of registration and you must receive a score of 70 or better on each subject. Upon passing a diploma and transcripts. If a participant fails any subject, they are given an opportunity to retest. Once a participant receives their diploma, they can attend any public community college or university with in the State of Texas.
Program Qualifications:
- Possess a legal form of ID
- 16 years of age or older
Program Benefits:
- All course work is done from home.
- Upon graduation participants are able to pursue a higher education or obtain employment/advancement upon completion.
- Participants are allowed 6 months to complete the program.
- Program allows you to work and earn your diploma at the same time.
Tutoring & Homework Support Sessions
Tutoring sessions are available in the following areas: Math, Reading and Science . All tutoring sessions are given by Texas Certified Teachers. General homework assistance in Math, Reading and Science are available. Homework sessions are conducted by a college student.
