Need Help Paying for Prescription Medications?

The Healthy Texas Medication Assistance Program helps people who have no health insurance or limited prescription coverage obtain the medications they need for free or at very low cost. Even individuals who have health insurance may qualify for assistance.

  • Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • High cholesterol
  • Respiratory illnesses
  • Mental health conditions
  • Other chronic health conditions

Eligible participants may receive a 90-day supply of free or low-cost prescription medications. The program also assists with ordering refills and states that there is no limit on the number of medications covered.

  • People without health insurance
  • People with inadequate prescription drug coverage
