The Texas Foster Youth Justice Project (TFYJP) provides free legal help to people who have experienced foster care and young people who are homeless or do not have family support. A project of Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, TFYJP helps young people understand their legal rights, access benefits, obtain important identification documents and overcome legal barriers that can make it difficult to live independently. Services include legal information, guidance, referrals and representation for eligible youth and young adults throughout Texas.
