Texas RioGrande Legal Aid (TRLA) is a nonprofit legal aid organization providing free civil legal services to low-income and eligible individuals and families in San Antonio and communities throughout Central, South and West Texas. TRLA attorneys help people address legal problems involving housing, eviction, foreclosure, domestic violence, divorce and child custody, employment, public benefits, consumer issues, wills and estates, education and other civil legal matters. Legal assistance is free for people who qualify. Because demand for legal aid is high, eligibility does not guarantee that TRLA will be able to provide full legal representation.

Texas RioGrande Legal Aid helps people who cannot afford a private attorney address serious civil legal problems. Depending on the individual's circumstances and eligibility, assistance may include:
