THRU Project helps current and former foster youth in San Antonio and Bexar County successfully transition from foster care to independent adulthood. Young people with foster-care experience can receive long-term mentoring, housing assistance, mental wellness services, career coaching, life-skills training, transportation assistance, communication resources, and connections to education and employment opportunities. THRU Project primarily serves youth and young adults ages 14–25 and provides programs designed to address some of the most significant barriers young people face while aging out of foster care.
