Zapatos, Inc. helps children throughout San Antonio and Bexar County attend school with comfortable, properly fitting shoes. The all-volunteer nonprofit works with schools to provide new footwear to students from families experiencing financial hardship. School counselors, social workers and family liaisons submit requests for students, and Zapatos works to get the needed shoes to the child's school quickly.
